K5- 40 students with 10 on Waiting List
1st grade- 34 students with room for 16 students
2nd grade- 25 students with 8 on Waiting List
3rd grade- 19 students with room for 6 students
4th grade- 21 students with room for 4 students
Total of 139 students enrolled for the 2020-2021 academic year. There are currently 26 spots for additional students to enroll.
Advertisement: Moving forward, K5 will most likely be the largest area of growth for BPA. It is more difficult for parents to move their child once in the higher grades. There are 10 students on the waiting list for K5. To keep budget on point, we may need to consider increasing the K5 class from 20 to 25 students.
Deirdre is going to look and see if there is another space for the additional 10 K5 students. If there is room for the additional students, BPA can accept those 10 K5 students and hire an additional K5 teacher to accommodate to 10 K5 students on the waiting list. Further discussion and approval of adding the 10 students will take place in the July meeting.
Dress Code: The updated dress code for the 2020-2021 academic year were sent to the board for review. If any changes need to be made we will address those in the July meeting.
No layering, jogger pants, or hoodies will be allowed.
Boys may not wear earrings will remain in the dress code.
