7.

August Financials

August financials reviewed. Waiting on revenue to be posted. Total liabilities stated on the budget does not reflect current deduction approved in the September Board meeting. The current liabilities is $181,426.

BPA has applied for additional reimbursements to CARES.

BPA qualified as a Title I school for the 2020-2021 academic year. There is an addition of $21,000 to the budget.

Board Reports and Updates

Enrollment

Current enrollment is 133. Three have filled out the paperwork who were on the waitlist. Those three will bring the enrollment to 136 once they are at BPA.

Attendance

Those who were out due to Covid-19 are all back as of October 9, 2020. To date, BPA has reported 2 positive cases in the school. The other absences have been due to close contact.

IDEA

Services will cover a portion of the Contracted Services.

Cares Act

Amendment included for the Round I of the CARES Act expenditures.

CARES Act Round II could be used to support targeted students. MAP scores were evaluated and any student who fell in the ‘Does Not Meet’ category. This benefit from CARES ends in December

Title I

Meeting to be held on 10/13/2020 with BPA faculty and parents to discuss money allocation from Title I funding. The goal is to add a math and reading interventionist to the faculty.

9.

Board Elections

The Bylaws do not stagger member turnover. The Board needs to assess re-election to avoid full turnover of members.

10.

Miscellaneous from the Board

Stan Campbell, Chair of Deacons, has requested James Galyean bring a proposal to the deacons on November 1, 2020. After meeting with the Deacons, James Galyean will present the proposal to the church the first week of December. This will allow for a time of question and answer.
