"We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education." -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Belton Preparatory Academy provides a unique public educational experience, the first of its kind in South Carolina. Our classical curriculum provides high-quality instruction in phonics, Latin, logic, literature, history, math, and science (STEM), while our entrepreneurial and free-market competition component emphasizes the development of leadership qualities and behaviors such as taking positive risks, viewing errors as opportunities, working to recover from a mistake, giving and receiving feedback, collaboration, and more. There is no better place for students to experience rigorous academia and spirited competition than within the safe and nurturing environment of our school.
Together, we can mold and shape the minds and behaviors of our students so they will be competitive, compassionate, and, ultimately, productive in all things. We look forward to working with you and are honored that you have chosen to join our Belton Prep family!

What our happy families say
Check out some testimonials from our students and parents.
You love our kids as though they were your own, and you make learning fun!
I have never been to a school where all the teachers are always smiling and are genuinely happy to see the children each day! I have watched my grandchildren thrive and enjoy learning more each day. Thanks to the teachers that encourage and inspire them daily.
Thank you, teachers and staff, for all your dedication to teaching and understanding all of the young students at BPA.
