Grammar is the structure of our language. Phonics relates to the sounds of our language. We use a traditional phonics scope and sequence created by CKLA. Our methods are rooted in the science of reading and provide our students with the building blocks of the entire english language.
Logic
Logic is a set of rules and techniques to help distinguish between good reasoning and bad reasoning. We focus on life principles that help our scholars build a strong sense of self and create the power of logic within themselves
The arts
The arts have been an integral part Of learning since the dawn of time. We provide our scholars with music, art, and physical education. We offer chorus as well as gifted and talented art as extra curriculars!
Arithmetic
Arithmetic consists of the–study of the properties of the traditional operations numbers. We use Eureka Math which combines the old with the new and gives students the knowledge Of how any why the math works.
Science
The study of the sciences enables students to understand the world around them. Most of human progress is a result of advancements in science, We focus Oh studying physical, life, earth, and social sciences. Our earlier grades enjoy integrating science into their literature studies through CKLA's comprehensive curriculum.
History
The study of history is vital to progress. Our scholars study a wide range of history from Early World Civilizations to Recent American History beginning in Kindergarten, Our elementary curriculum spirals topics in age appropriate ways throughout the grade levels.
